east of lake sonoma. you can see the winds out of the northwest to west from about 20 to 30mph. that continues to send smoke down to the south and east. that evacuation order for the dry creek valley area, that is the order to get out. now, as you can see, the fire continues to get pushed by those winds down towards the south and southeast into the dry creek valley area here that you see on the screen. temperatures in the 70s, but really it's the wind and those wind gusts 20 to 30mph with humidity levels in the 20% range. very dry fuels out there, especially the grasses. and due to that wind, you can see the air quality impact from where that fire is burning off to the west there of healdsburg, sending that unhealthy air down into santa rosa and much of interior sonoma county right now. here's a look at how those air quality conditions spiked into the unhealthy range near healdsburg, with winds likely staying in the same direction they are now. if you're in those north bay communities and you smell the smoke, you probably want to shut those windows as the wind speeds will not be backing off in terms of the direction and where those winds are going and the speeds themselves.
