south florida doing okay, but ana might be a rainmaker for south florida in the days to come. the immediate threat right now is for flooding. i'll tell you why. because we not only have heavy rain coming up over the panhandle, but we also have runoff from streams and rivers in the region. so we're going to see that threat for flooding looking ahead all the way up into montgomery, alabama, and cloud coverage extending further north as well. here it is, the first hurricane of the atlantic season. bill is a very strong-looking hurricane. we have convection here mainly to the southeastern quadrant of the storm, but this storm is forecast to grow and intensify as it works its way further off to the west. but which way will bill go? some of the models are taking it a little closer to the u.s. mainland where others are turning it away from the u.s. entirely. bermuda still very much threatened by bill as its forecasted to become a major hurricane, meaning category 3, and that's just in the days to come. and finally, ana pounding the dominican republic. puerto rico will see heavy rain
