a daring police chase in south florida today. just look at this video. police say, a man stole a taxi cab and led at least three law enforcement agencies on a high speed chase through two counties. even after losing control of the car at one point. the suspect managed to evade officers. the fugitive used the shoulder of the road to speed past other cars, squeezed between cars at intersections. and narrowly avoided hitting a delivery truck. the chase ended when the driver turned into a shopping center. leapt from the car and took off on foot with an officer right behind him. the man was knocked to the ground by an unmarked car as he fled, and officers were able to take him into custody. haamid zaid was in court in connection with a range of previous charges. dating back to 2012. they include possession of drugs, vandalism, hit and run and resisting arrest. court records obtained by kron 4 news show. that zaid crashed his car into a san jose chevron station and threw a chair through a window at rosie mccann's pub at santana row, and telling police, he was
