it's now delaware and south jersey.storm leaving the wilmington area is firing up in salem county. it's now extending into cumberland county heavier rainfall for bridgeton. quite a bit of lightning in lower gloucester county. this storm is pushing into camden county and heading for burlington county as well. the storms are lining up this morning. still some rain coming down for areas north and west. this is the area that saw the heavy rainfall. based on radar estimates, close to 4 inches of rain in berks county and eastern lancaster county. heavy rainfall on honey brook. look at the pottstown area. 2 1/2 inches of rain this morning. storms yesterday, this has already soaked ground an inch and a half in eastern new castle county. more than two inches of rain in salem, gloucester and camden counties. it is still coming down. the rain may taper off but the flood threat will still exist because it will take some time for the rain to come together and find those areas. the chance of storms will be with us through the morning

virtua health in south jersey is suing the state of new jersey.ts paramedic service for camden. virtua operates paramedic services in camden and burlington counties but a law signed this month by governor christie gives level one trauma centers the right to run ambulance and paramedic services in their host communities so that would give the camden service to cooper which is a level one trauma center. cooper says it wants to take over services. it says that would better coordinate healthcare in the city. >> still a lot of gray areas ethically and legally when it comes to social media. this is a pretty interesting case here. i'll tell you what's happening. a few teens claim they busted a cheating spouse at a baseball game. they took pictures of her at an atlanta braves game while she was sitting next to her husband. they say she was texting her lover with the husbands right next to her. so the teams posted the pictures on social media and left the husband a note telling him about the text. i don't know how anything was resolved with this couple her

fake money is filtering in to cash registers, maybe even into the pockets of people in south jersey. ers and police say they are seeing more and more of this counterfeit cash. >> nbc 10 jersey shore bureau reporter ted greenberg has the story from egg harbor township. >> reporter: authorities say these are some of the bogus bills that raised red flags when they ended up at cash registers three times at m & s produce and deli in egg hashrbor township. police say they seized more than $1,000 in counterfeit money, mostly 50s and 20s, many with duplicate serial numbers from this suv and arrested two people. detectives say the duo tried to pass the fake cash at least five times in the township since june of last year. >> tried to purchase a small item and used a $50 note and their intent was to get change which would be authentic currency. >> reporter: investigators won't provide specifics about how these bills were made but say they clearly lack security features like watermarks and security thread. police say they tracked the pair down on friday when an off-duty officer spotted the suv p

but the big story is the camden county man that led police on a chase through philadelphia and south jersey. the suspect was stopped just before 10:00 last night when an officer clipped his van flipping the vehicle over. ryan ritter was released from the hospital and is now facing charges. >> this chase began in oakland, new jersey a police officer tried to pull over ritter for some outstanding warrants but they went on a two state chase that lasts two hours this is how it ended a police cruiser clipping the back of the van and sending the cruiser side over side. >> he came out with his hands up, with a tiki barber jersey on. he went to the hospital for observation but was returned to southeast dsks early this morning. >> we are lucky that no one else was injured because of this. lieutenant john stanford says that oakland police led the chase with state police and philadelphia police assisting. at one time the chase reached high speeds on the highway. commissioner ramsey changed the way that police respond to chases, opting on the side of caution. philadelphia police largely monitored last

and now a south jersey man is behind bars this afternoon. police arrested alexis plater at an apartment complex yesterday. two department of children families employees were at that apartment to look into the well being of the children. he pushed one of the workers to the ground and punched her. the children are being cared for in a safe place? in november a worker stabbed her caseworker at a child welfare office. that attack happened two days after police officers were taken out of all child welfare offices. and after that attack a new jersey state assembly woman proposed a bill that would require human services police officers or state troopers to accompany social workers when they're needed. >>> a philadelphia school bus crash on i-95 this afternoon. there were not any students on board the bus. a fire at 60th and pine this afternoon, heavily damaged the storefront and the apartments above. the fire department had it under control in about 15 minutes. no one there was hurt. >>> new information on the tree trimmer who was trapped in his me
