earlier today we had some thunderstorms to the south of london and they have now moved out into the englishues through the rest of this week. but many areas will be dry with some sunshine around and temperatures widely today into the low 20s. in the north east of england it was much colder. we also had some cloud around in scotland and northern ireland but that is getting to break up. we still have low cloud pushing further inland in the north east of england and other eastern parts of england. everything coming in from the north sea so further west it is dry and clear. not particularly cold but still quite lowly in the south east. the cloud across eastern england should roll back very quickly towards coastal areas. otherwise sunny skies but we could see cloud again in the south—east corner bringing the threat of some storms to end the day. temperatures in wales again in the mid—20s on wednesday. still quite a strong wind across the south east as we head into thursday but this time we see more organisation to those showers or even longer spells of rain overnight. moving into southern areas
