this area of high pressure to the south is basically funneling all of this wet weather right into the pacific northwest. what we need is to drop to the south for us to get some wet weather changes. i do think that's going to happen, it's just not going to happen for tonight's forecast. you can see tonight through tomorrow morning, mainly cloud cover on the increase. we'll wake up with fog, also areas of drizzle. by friday evening, still looking at a dry forecast at this point. we're not going to see the return of some rain in the forecast, we think, at this point until saturday's forecast. that's when the cold front will swoop down, and it looks like 5:00, 6:00 in the evening, it will eventually make it to the south bay. i'd like to see the rain totals higher than you see here, but it doesn't look good for us to accumulate a half inch in the bay area. in the south bay, there might be trace amounts to maybe a tenth of an inch. right around santa rosa and also napa. let's take a look at that forecast as we head toward friday. temperatures will be above average. right near 70 degrees in san jose
