south park, i learned is the oldest park in san francisco. the land was acquired in 1987 and established as a park. this park was included in 2012 park as the san diego park. in 2009, the park improvement association embarked on a planning committee process for full renovation of the park. over the last 6 years, spia has been really successful in developing partnerships both public and private and now working very closely with the san francisco parks alliance and to make them an instrumental partner in supporting this rehab for this park. this grant will be used to enhance the recreation and parks construction budget for people of all ages. the enhance construction budget includes a special play structure, more lighting, traffic calming solutions at the entrance of the park including bulb out and street stamping and crosswalks. i want to thank sdia for securing public and private funds and they completed the $400000 gap that remains in the park and we'll work closely with them to ensure this gap is filled. if there are members of the public w
