we're live in south philadelphia.give you a little bit of good news here on 95 northbound side past the walt whitman bridge. we had that jackknifed tractor-trailer early this morning. all that's left now are a couple of flares that you can pretty easily dodge so all lanes reopened on 95 as you head northbound up towards penn's landing and the vine street expressway. hey, speaking of which if you're wondering how is that vine looking, it is not fine this morning. as we look live in center city here by eighth street, taillights are headed eastbound towards 95 and everybody is kind of just slowly creeping along. that's what you have to do but you still need to maintain enough momentum to make it up hills and such. you can't go so slowly you'll not going to be able to make it up the hills. you'll end up spinning or something like that. you have to balance the speeds as you head out this morning. no accidents or anything on the vine but it is a very slippery treacherous situation as is the case on all of the highways and t

right now it is pushing into south philadelphia. it is steady, though, in delaware and south jersey just as expected. this is where we're going to see the heaviest snowfall. right now that steady snowfall is starting to lighten up a little bit in southern delaware. but there's still a lot more storms to go. but that's the tail end. and that's on the move. so it started quickly. it's also going to end quickly early this afternoon. one of the ways you can tell how heavy the snow is by looking at the visibility. snow reduces visibility. and it's down under a mile for georgetown and atlantic city has visibility under a mile. but you can see excellent visibility for mount holly, and it's a lighter snowfall at five-mile visibility right now in wilmington. but the snow that will continue this morning. two to four inches in south jersey. closer to the shore. and look at sussex county in delaware, three to six inches expected. the farther inland you go the less snow you'll see. for example, philadelphia will just get some light snow. expectin

in the morning we have that light snow south of philadelphia. uld be a flurry or a little burst of something closer to the city but i think this is mostly down to the south and then it stays rather cloudy the rest of the day with a high of 30. still cold friday with a high of 30 and then mostly sunny on saturday but we're still going to hold a high of 30. there's a change for the weekend. that warmer air we talked about yesterday is going to be delayed in arriving so now sunday only gets up to about 36 and in the afternoon especially late in the day and evening we'll be on the lookout for the arrival of some rain perhaps mixing with some sleet or a bit of wet snow and that continues into monday morning. i think this is going to be fairly light but we could get a little rain or a mix on monday. tuesday is a little bit more of a concern because there's more moisture involved with the second system coming in tuesday and that one probably is rain with a bit of mixing. >> okay, something to watch. >> oh, yeah, next week still looks active. >> fort lau
