. >>> san jose city leaders could make a move to bring the oakland a's to the south bay. marla tellez is live in san jose with a look at a private land sale scene what's at stake. >> reporter: good morning. they've been talking about this for a couple of years now. today the conversation continues. right where we are standing, this is where the stadium would be built. today the city council will meet to talk about the proposed land sale that could have them moving to the south bay. on the agenda today, the need to get public feedback. voters will have the final say. they'll talk about setting up a public hearing. the sale would total five acres along south montgomery street between west san fernando and park avenue. less than a couple of weeks ago san jose leaders came forward with a steal of an offer for the a's. they proposed selling the five acres for $7 million the a's owner says they will not buy the land unless major league baseball allows them to relocate. the city is offering a two-year option for $50,000 to hold the land until a decision is made by bud selig. this

san jose has had some moderate rain showers. let's take you on a quick tour around the bay. we'll ta you to the south bay to start things off. ose, a break in the action. east bay, things are relatively dry. where things could get interesting is right there west of san francisco. you see those lightning bolts showing up. the trend, i think, as we go through the day is most of these showers are going to head south toward southern california. kind of a rainy start for the morning. a little less so for the north baby lunchtime. by 4:00, look at those highs today. only mid 50s. the showers will shut down and clear the bay area. then a dry start to the workweek but just in time for thanksgiving looks like more rain coming on in again. not the best timing. >> nobody wants to go outside on thanksgiving anyway. >> just stay in and stay near the oven. >> thanks, rob. >>> a candle light vigil will be held later tonight for a fallen vallejo police officer who was shot and killed while chasing a bank robbery suspect last thursday. he also coached a girl's basketball team last year, and the entire team walked to a makeshift memorial site
