in the south bay, 85 in san jose. 93 at morgan hill. it will be a bit warmer in some spots on wednesday as temperatures will be rising inland. as a matter of fact, up in cloverdale and clearlake high,s of 101 degrees. same readings on thursday, and the inland east bay will start to close in towards the 100 degrees mark as well. on friday we'll see the heat easing up just a bit. and temperatures will begin to settle back into a more seasonal range. here is the accuweather seven-day forecast. once again, thursday looks like it's going to be the hottest day inland in the seven-day forecast period. we'll see mid- to upper 80s around the bay on thursday. and perhaps up to about 70 on the coast. as i said, the heat will begin to ease on friday. then saturday, sunday and monday, we'll see highs only up to about 60 on the coast. upper 70s around the bay. maybe 90 or 92 on the inland area. nothing very extreme. just two hot days coming our monitor their blood glucose every day. which means they have to stop. and stick their fingers. repeatedly.

san jose telling us about this sudden and surprising closure of orchard hardware supply stores. >> yeah, good morning, reggie and jessica. the official announcement coming in. the store here in south san jose has been here for decades. they had big plans here. they have the sign out front that says now hiring happy people. a lot of the current workers are finding out their jobs are going away. lowe's bought them about five years ago. orchard supply was founded in san jose all the way back in 1931. back then it was used by farmers to buy supplies. then it turned into a modern day hardware store. several of those are here in the bay area. the earnings report called this morning, lowe's announced they'll be closing all the stores and their distribution facility about it end of the fiscal year. lowe's president and ceo said while it is a necessary business decision to exit orchard supply hardware, decision that's impact our people are never easy. we'll provide outplacement ss s services for impacted associates and they'll be given priority status if they apply for other lowe's positions. they'll start conducting store closing sales soon. matt keller, abc 7 news. >>> new developments t
