so areas south of san jose will make a run at the temperatures above 100 degrees from south san jose down into morgan hill, tri valley, heading up to concord and walnut creek. hottest places around the bay area tomorrow from 100 to 105 degrees in reach. and look at bayside again. oakland and hayward back into the 90s again. 95 in redwood city, palo alto 92. stanford game coming up there early afternoon. we'll look at that forecast in a moment. downtown san francisco, close to 90 tomorrow. more 90s and hundreds across the north bay. so speaking of palo alto, kickoff temperature here, 1230 by mid afternoon, palo alto temperatures likely climb into the low 90s. stanford hosting virginia tech, 430. san jose state hosting nevada. look at that. 98 degrees at 430. kickoff time staying in the 90s to upper 80s towards the end of the game. and then cal the big national coverage hosting miami. 84 degrees, 730 kickoff there. so pretty warm around berkeley, but not as hot as we're likely to see in palo alto or san jose. and we talked about why sunday is hot at levi's stadium. another day of 80s a

san francisco it's showing at about 89. if you take a look down through the south bay, san jose is at 98. morgan hill 101. and through parts of pleasanton, fairfield and concord. and just to give you an idea of how much warmer we are today compared to yesterday, we are running a few degrees warmer, even though yesterday we did see some record highs. san francisco is already running about 11 degrees warmer at this hour. so yes, the heat advisories and the heat warnings will remain in place all the way through wednesday. we're seeing sort of this orange color. this is where the heat advisories are. in effect. that darker color is showcasing the heat warnings. now, in addition to the heat being a problem, we're also noticing, of course, the extremely dry conditions. anytime we're dealing with high pressure, what it tends to do is it dries us out and it warms us up. but that could also be problematic for our air quality because as that high pressure sits over the bay area and really california in its entirety, that traps a lot of the pollutants and the smog closer to the surface. so they have extended the spa

yesterday, san jose's record high, in case you missed it, was 106. so if it felt hot in the south bay, it certainly was. and right now these are the current temperatures in south san jose. we're still in the triple digit mark at 100 degrees. take a look at the interior. concord, fairfield, and of course into parts of livermore and tracey 100 for san martin. 113 san francisco is at about 80 degrees, but if you notice, near san mateo and oakland, we're in the 80s. and of course, in through some parts of the north bay upper 90s as well. and yes, we did see that the heat advisories and heat warnings were extended. not surprising from the model runs we had seen those forecasted highs continue to stay pretty dangerously hot in through parts of this week. and if you notice clear skies, we've got that high pressure still sitting over really the entire state of california. there's red flag warnings extended all the way down through southern for california much of the hilltop areas. and for us here locally. we're going to see this heat advisory and heat warning in place until saturday. we a
