san jose was christmas eve, december 24th. and since january 1st, we've only gotten a couple of hundredths of an inch so far. so to date we're talking less than two inches for the south bay. a typical rain shadowed san jose. a lot of the santa cruz mountains, of course, take majority of that rainfall through system. so right now this is what your 7-day forecast is looking like, a very low possibility for saturday. we're talking a 10% chance of seeing some spotty showers through that saturday forecast. by the time we inch into sunday, that system will be completely cleared out. and then we'll start to dip in those morning lows, but also the afternoon highs. we're going to get a bit more seasonable, dropping down by as much as ten degrees in some spots in through parts of the interior. we're going to max out only in those upper 50s, so definitely expect to keep the dry conditions. as far as your traffic goes, we've been doing good here so far. the bay bridge toll plaza has managed to keep its lights off, although typically the metering lights come on right around 525. but looking at this camera, i can see that that traffic has already started to build. so there is a po

so the first tollway zone right there along channel with avenue by snow thats in south san jose. there are about 20 oversized vehicles currently parked there, the locations of tow away zones, by the way, were selected in areas where rv's are close to schools and waterways and interim housing facilities. the city says this section of channel with avenue receives warnings today and then the tollway will be enforced starting january 13th. there are about 30 sites in total that the city's planning on cleaning up over the next 6 months. will people who are unhoused now along train tracks pose an unsafe and dangerous problem for railroad workers across california cities. and that includes in san jose. so conditions have shown just how close workers and riders passed by these homeless encampments along the tracks. and rebel officials say that these encampments, along with loitering and dumping prevent the company from effectively serving the areas and in some cases it can be dangerous for railroad workers and riders if they have to confront people or objects that are blocking the tracks
