rain move into san jose and about 60 minutes across the south bay, heavier showers will begin to develop by 8 a.m. everybody is underneath that shieldather. so it's a level two today for downpours, gusty winds this afternoon and even some thunderstorms are possible. so here's future weather. everybody is in the rain later on at 8 a.m. as we head into the afternoon, what we will transition to are pop-up downpours. and underneath some of these downpours we could see a thunderstorm. and these downpours could create some isolated flooding potential, especially in the north bay, where we'll find some of the heaviest rain falling today. but even through the evening we will be tracking the scattered downpours. winds will also become a big issue this afternoon. not too bad right now. it won't be too bad crossing our bridges this morning as the winds are pretty light. but this evening it's a different story as those winds gusts 40 to 50mph. so we could have some issues with trees coming down and some power outages. a wind advisory is in effect. a winter storm warning is also in effect. snow levels around 5000ft today. so snow really ramps up
