's going to become the focus of weather. tomorrow the front gets further south, then on friday gets a little further south, and that's going to be the focus, if you will, of showers and storms. until it gets all the way to our south we run the risk of some big storms. so keep that in mind. these storms back in the mountains are dying out, and these storms south of fredericksburg will stay south of fredericksburg tonight. so here's what we're looking at. more storms possibly in the morning, late morning. i think the morning commute will be dry. and again in the afternoon. so another round coming our way. some could be strong, a few could be severe on thursday. not as hot thursday and friday, that's good news. in fact, i've lowered temperatures quite a bit for friday and saturday. more storms on friday as the front finally makes its trek south of the metro. overnight we'll say partly cloudy, muggy, some patchy fog, lows in the 70s. winds out of the northwest at 10. by morning, early in t

pennsylvania as you can see. a few have popped up not that far from areas south and west of us from virginia. and some in far western maryland. we're watching this main line across centralsoutheast at 25 miles per hour. if it holds together, we could see some storms across central maryland, probably by 8:00, 9:00 tonight. and some of these could be locally strong to even severe, with heavy downpours, lightning, and even damaging winds are possible. hopefully this will die out, as it passes across the mountain. temperature-wise now, so far, this is about as warm as we've seen it. but 95 degrees with the dew point of 58. luckily, it's not higher. it's lower, actually, because it's so dry out. only 79 in oakland. 83 in ocean city. once again, the 95, with that low dew point, feels like 94. now, later this week, i expect temperatures to be back up in the upper 90s. it will probably feel like over 100, several days later this week. so we're not done with this heat by far. bernadette has a look at this heat. >> that's right. so we're starting to count up the 90-plus-degree days. this has become relent will. this is our seventh day in a row of 90-plus degree days. and we did h
