right now it is a warm afternoon and across the southeast birmingham. and nashville 71. charlotte is 66. pretty good. the next day, 2 days, 3 days, you will notice a bit more in the way of humidity. that does not help the pollen. the dew points are running around 50 or so n a couple of days, not as summertime levels but you feel it get sticky but later on in the week as a continuation of southeast winds eventually makes it humid. that prevailing wind. it will be saturday or sunday behaves as it moves our way. speaking of a front, we have severe weather. the risk is high. heavy rain. and tornadoes. that risk will shift to the east on wednesday. it will be a upper level low. lots of energy from the gulf and moisture. a lot of rain. look at this. this is the rain fall between now and friday. you know are you talking. this is going to slowly move our way. the models are struggling on how it plays out. some have them moving in on saturday. others not until sunday. later on in the weekend is the best idea. 78 now the forecast for tonight. and nice night. we're down to 59, lots

southeast? well birmingham, upwards of all been from the same parent cell. we'll survey the damage today, national weather service will and will let us know as far as what happened there as far as the intensity. it's a damage scale so they have to look at debris, by that they can determine what winds caused the damage. the front is weakening as it moves through today. for us that means just mostly cloudy skies, a couple of showers, then we're looking pretty good as we head through tonight. at arrows depicting a south wind, bringing us a little more moisture. you can feel the humidity this morning. then we'll begin to clear out as we head through later in afternoon. dry air begins to move in, i think we'll be in pretty good shape, look at the temperatures, it's been a while since we had temperatures in the mid-60s. feels nice, more spring-like. inverness 63. you were in the low 40s yesterday so much cooler. and we'll continue to track futurecast here, but chunk of dry air tomorrow, nice. then another weak front comes in friday setting us up for a pretty spect

around the southeast, a warm night. 58 in atlanta. 64 birmingham. 65 little rock. 68 in new orleans. the dew points are gradually coming up especially in the western gulf. our dew point now is about 55. it's going to rise. and i think by thursday and friday i would not be surprised if the dew point kind of sits in that 65 to 70 range, maybe 70 or so briefly until the weak cold front goes by. has to turn muggy eventually with winds from the southeast. high pressure is east of us. we stay warm tomorrow. we stay warm on wednesday. in the low 80s. and then we just kind of wait it's going to produce all kinds of weather trouble in the lower mississippi valley. that's going to head our way and probably arrive sometime on saturday. clear and mild tonight. we're down to 59. we've got sunshine tomorrow. it will be a warm day we're up near 80. a day like today. wednesday mostly sunny, even warmer and a bit more humid. we do hit 82. i'll fine tune the weekend forecast tomorrow but i would plan on at least a spell of showers and thundershowers maybe saturday into sunday with temperatures then in

across the southeast, though n general if you take out the clouds you take out the showers. it is a warm, warm day. 72 in birmingham and 75 in atlanta. out in charlotte. the wider view shows colder air not off. denver and 29 up in bismark. 43 in chicago. going to be pushing east ward over the next couple of days. it may set the stage for snow across the northeast and new england as we head into sunday and monday. and potentially big snow for some of those cities up there. satellite and radar. here is the batch of showers. you can see this here, you can test by the clouds this a complex of showers and storms working to the east. it is just out of radar view but that will push in. if it holds together would be here sometime later around midnight or so. more showers and storms back to the west as well. we'll see these pushing through the overnight hours. future cast shows this. overnight there is the batch of showers working in. i think we'll have one batch moving through tonight into the morning hours tomorrow. and especially areas to the north. that's where we see the heating the development of the storms, some coul
