my neighborhood is southeast d.c., a little slick getting out this morning. those side roads not treated, but take a look at the main roads here. we're at route 1 in woodbridge and the roads, you can see the car just going by smoothly and easily, the roads are down to pavement, just some moisture there on the ground. we only have accumulation, as you can imagine, on the untreated surfaces, grass, and, of course, some of the sidewalks, take a look at the parking lot, and, you know, that is just covered with just about a light dusting, maybe about an inch or so. not a whole lot here. and 95 as we were traveling from the district all the way down here to prince william county, no problem at all. we did see some crews out on the roads, so certainly they have done a good job treating the main roads, and so there is no problem commuting thus far. we are going to get back in the car, head further south, see if we can get another glimpse at what this winter weather brought p us early this morning. and so we'll see you again at 4:30. back to you. >> thank you, delia.

southeast massachusetts, in particular cape cod, the islands as that area of snow starts to surge its way up from the southwest. but north and west of boston, it's over. new york city, philadelphia, washington, d.c., and down towards norfolk it's over. believe it or not, around norfolk, virginia, we had about 4 inches of snow. that's crazy. now, here in the northeast, the winds are starting to ramp up near the coast as the storm intensifies. these are recent wind gusts anywhere from 20 to 40 miles an hour. so, when you combine that with some pretty chilly arctic air, well, we're looking at some low realfeel temperatures. currently in boston, it's 11. new york is 12 and d.c., 13. so that snow has been light and fluffy, so if you like to make snowball, it's kind of hard to do that. you'll certainly have to bundle up for the morning hours. it's cold out there. look at those realfeel temperatures, well below zero. and guess what, it does look like this cold pattern will continue for awhile, so the storm pulls out. brisk winds, especially near the coast, there will be blowing, drifting snow, and that will make it hard to keep those roadways clear. now back to you guys. >> all right, accuweather's mar
