it happened along naylor road in southeast washington.r is there at the scene with the latest. >> reporter: well, andrea, the fire is now out. firefighters are on the scene trying to determine exactly what caused this fire to break out, but the real story here are the three children that were affected by this fire. two children are in critical condition. another is also in the hospital because they were entrapped inside of this apartment where the fire broke out around 6:00 a.m. this morning and we have new information about their condition. maybe not about their condition but definitely we now know their ages. joining me to tell us about that is pete with dc fire and ems. what more do we know about these children? >> the good news is -- unfortunately they were found unconscious or semi conscious. they were resuscitated and essentially revived by paramedic and transported to the hospital. they are in stable condition but they are all critical. we have 5-year-old boy, 2-year- old female and a 5 or 6-month- old female. they were all found u
