we've got big time thunderstorms pushing through southeastern kansas and into missouri. as far as we're concerned, some of this moisture gets here. it's moving almost due northeast now, about the eventually it will turn off move off to the south and east. snows continue around denver, probably all said and done. it could be in their top 10. it probably will be their biggest february snow. look at the storms moving out 44 springfield headed towards st. louis and now clearing kansas city. some of those producing hail and strong winds. temperatures for us now, we're 40, no problems tonight. we stay dry, 44 in arlington, 40s about, do but 37 gaithersburg and 38 in reston and 40 in beltsville. a touch of winter, it's possible over the weekend. cold and dry tonight, dry most of tomorrow. rain saturday night, may be mixed weather changed to snow worth and west of town near hagerstown and more snow possible sunday even down to the district line. i think charles county, st. mary's county, you'll probably have kind of a cold rain. how much rain? not much. most of it falls in the m

the unions aren't quite as strong to go you know to outsource to nonunion shops right now in southeastern kansas several county region around wichita you have thirty thousand unemployed. airline aircraft workers in the past you know i was trying with the union leader who said you could. always quit a job in an aircraft maker and go get another one the same week that was the case up until the financial crash a few years ago and a number of factors have led to wichita's demise in the precarious state of wichita and what about because i know boeing last february one very large military contract and promised all these thousands of jobs were going to come to wichita as a result fast forward a year and boeing says never mind we're going to shut down all of our operations here and get out why is that is that the union issue they want to get away from well some of it is they want to do with the union some of it is also they want to consolidate and you know they have a facility in san antonio that they want to use more. but i find it very difficult that they want to move and so it's really interesting th

big time snows in denver and eastern colorado, but big time thunderstorms in southeastern kansas pushing again i mentioned this earlier. it's more like spraining time storm for the bulk of the precipitation falling as -- a springtime storm with the bulk of the pricing falling as rain. we'll stay dry tonight and dry through saturday morning at least and really most of saturday. temps now 45 bethesda, 46 rockville, colder up towards gaithersburg, 43, 44 reston, still 50 fort belvoir, but upper 40s in college park and mid-40s in beltsville and laurel. maybe a touch of winter over the weekend, cold and dry tonight, dry most of saturday, rain saturday night. it may mix with or change to snow north and west of town. by that we mean frederick, hagerstown and outside of leesburg. wet snow is possible inside the beltway sunday except for southern maryland. you'll probably end up with more rain than anything else. the chance for snow, we'll put this into motion for you through sunday, you can see maybe .3-inch in gaithersburg, maybe an inch in frederick, essentially right along the maryland/p.a. b
