for the most part all morning long, but the heavier rain you see there in the yellow is in southeastern virginia. it's going to continue to pull off to the south and east, there's a drying trend at least temporarily. that's coming into now the shenandoah valley. somewhat drier air pushed into the panhandle of west virginia and starting to dry o a few lingering sprinkles but east of the blue ridge where we have light to moderate rain, darker green coming down a little harder here in southern anne arundell and somewhat along 66 in prince william county and farther south. that's tracking off to the north and east. still have a couple more hours to get through, this as of 2:00 this afternoon but by 4:00 it starts to taper off. just a few scattered sprinkles, areas in green where we might have a few lingering sprinkles at 4:00. but by 6:00 p.m. it's cloudy and might have just a few scattered light sprinkles by 6:00 p.m. then dry for most of the evening. then as we get into the latter part of the evening we'll still be dry but does look like another area of some rain starts moving in to virginia by mi
