a few areas have a few rain showers down through southern california.e of the big-time winds and some of the ridgetops, over 150 miles per hour in the gusts, a substantial set-up brought in by high pressure to the north, across portions of southern california. so be ready for the potential for more of this through late saturday. want to start with some of the quieter travel weather across the east. clear conditions to start off, there's a look through the afternoon with a lot of sunshine in the forecast. and that will last into the start of the weekend. a few of the cooler areas back towards detroit. maybe a few snowflakes, really you're taking kind of more on the flurry side of things. it looks like a little more on the radar, not expecting to see it getting down towards pittsburgh, cleveland could see a few snowflakes as well. as far as the winds across the west are concerned, we still have some of the high wind watches and wind advisories as well across especially through southern california. still today gusts potential upwards of 60 miles per hour.

chances of showers, looks like they're going to drop into southern california. on the radar, we've got patches of cloud around the bay area. nothing in green on the radar. it may end up being that way for sunday. you can see here we have this piece of energy that's going to slide toward southern california. it's going to toss clouds our way. it's going to make for a chilly sunday afternoon. notice on future cast, hour by hour as we go into sunday morning, you really can't find any green. off the coast we've got a few showers out there. even as we head into sunday afternoon now and into early monday, all the moisture is swinging into central and southern california. so it appears now that most of those showers will be about san luis obispo south. wouldn't rule out a stray shower around the santa cruz mountains. certainly the forecast is trending drier by the hour as we head toward sunday. here the offshore showers not crossing over the bay area as a lot of that moisture is going to swing through southern california as we head into tomorrow afternoon. so for the b
