let's start with the live radar where the fire is burning in southern california. just to the west of palm springs, and look at what's happening, we have some showers coming through this morning, but embedded within some of the showers we have isolated thunderstorms. and the winds are now shifting. so it's pushing that fire back towards idyllwild, pushing it back towards hemet, and a 22,800-acre so far. very impressive for just five days. only 15% containment. this one still has extreme growth potential. we'll be watching it closely for you. they have 3,300 firefighters on scene trying to work that fire. you see the showers coming up from the south. this is going to head our way, bringing the thunderstorms into the bay area by the end of the weekend. still a ways away. we want to zoom in and show you the dry radar, just low cloud cover, and maybe drizzle. nothing significant just yet. that comes our way this sunday. we want to put that on your radar. 58 in san jose at lunchtime today. getting too warm for outdoor activities in antioch, so get it done early if you c
