it will be a pretty widespread event for southern california. tonight and tomorrow morning there is a good complex of thunderstorms moving across the san gabriel mountains and going into the l.a. basin. this chance come with a second pulse. on monday morning, watch this. we will take that impulse and this starts to come our way. this will be a significant concern for the sierra. it is a bigger issue there. there will be a pretty big complex of thunderstorms monday that was across the sierra. that has fire weather concerns in its own right. to keep the concern back at home, let's look closer and play that through one more time. watch the timing. here is tomorrow. we might get a few spotty showers tomorrow. but, that is not on the high and of likely. here is the tuesday timeframe. monday night going into tuesday and we see a more widespread opportunity in the predawn tuesday morning hours. that will be pretty similar timing to last week. that strike of lightning we got last week in north bay came in the morning. so, the possibility is there. there

we're going to start to notice that moisture from that monsoonal moisture in currently southern california billowing up towards northern california for us here in the bay area by sunday morning. but it's because of that daytime heating. it is going to create a very unstable atmosphere so it's really going to start to increase with those dry lightning sparked threats starting sunday afternoon through monday afternoon and we're going to notice that any dry lightning actually does spark. it could actually spark wildfires first arriving in our highest peaks. so let's take a live look outside right now we're noticing that fog bank slowly trying to creep over downtown san francisco. but it's going to be that monsoonal moisture right now to our south and east starting to make its way into southern california. that is going to make its way northward into the bay area by sunday morning into sunday afternoon. so we're going to notice that increase in high cloud cover and one thing you're noticing with this future cast model. it is moisture starved. so we are worried about that dry lightning, meaning
