southern california. are you balancing more towards southern california in terms of preparation? >> well, we are definitely looking at southern california. we had la county and la cityook back at the last el niÑo, it impacted all the way up to sacramento. so, we want to be ready wherever o'neill takes us within california. obviously, with burned areas more susceptible and the number of landslide prone areas, we want to make sure that california is ready, regardless of where the threat is. >> tell us about the areas where we are not quite ready and what do we need to do. >> one of the things we talked about with regard to el niÑo is because of california's unique topography and the threat to different areas and different states of that soil, as you go from burned area to landslide, to burn areas, that the messaging may need to be different. to be able to target messaging and make sure that we are able to do that for the entire population. those are some of the areas that we identified to include being able to support red cross and local governments and providing shelters. i think i recall the numbers from 97 and 98 being around 100,000 people evacuated. so, we want t
