well, we move back to the east, area of low pressure moves away, moves across southern canada.th it. on the back side of this, it's going to start to fill in. so, that cold air, exceptionally cold for this time of year. going to filter in, not just across the northern tier, but also into the great lakes and down through the tennessee valley. so, you'll wonder where is may with all the cold air. in the meantime, for places like the northwest, those temperatures are going to be cooling off. so, in the meantime, a freeze threat. hard freeze, frost and freeze warning advisories out all the way from green bay to des moines, chicago, detroit, down to nashville and into the hudson valley. watch out as those temperatures only in the 20s and 30s. little more specifically there monday morning. chicago, starts out with 41. columbus, ohio, at 38 degrees. and charleston, west virginia, temperatures there only in the 30s. if you have tender plants, make sure they're protected. syracuse 39 and erie is looking at 38 degrees. but yesterday in burbank, the temperatures soared to 96 degrees. seat

southern section of the pipeline which did not require his approval. sadly, canadian prime minister steven harper has announced that due to delays by the obama administration, canada has no choice but to consider alternative options for bringing its oil to market, including constructing a pipeline from alberta to the pacific coast for export to china. if we don't take advantage of this opportunity, somebody else will. probably china. after four environmental impact statements, all of which have concluded that there will be minimal environmental impacts, the administration continues to stall construction of the pipeline. it would lessen our dependence on foreign oil from dangerous parts of the world, by integrating our friendly northern neighbor into our energy economy. with each day that passes, we slowly lose one of the best opportunities this country has had in a generation to secure our energy independence. since the president refuses to act, congress will. the northern route approval act removes the president's veto and will ensure that after years of extensive studies, construction of the pipeline can move forward so america can begin to benefit from this tre

southern part which is to take oil from oklahoma down to the gulf coast. the part that's under question right now is the part that would bring new tar sands oil in from canada. and as far as jobs go, this is a pipeline that will bring about 35 permanent jobs. that's the calculations that are done by our own state department. it would bring just under 4,000 construction jobs. obviously very important. we can get those construction jobs in the united states through clean energy jobs. we don't need to turn to dirty sources of energy that drive global warming in order to get the kind of economic recovery that we need in the united states. host: from that forbes article, the keystone x.l. network is nearly 70% complete and it already carries half a billion gallons of oil every single day. guest: this was built some number of years ago. this is why we don't need the additional keystone x.l. pipeline. we already get tar sands from canada. there is an extensive pipeline system. an additional pipeline is really not about bringing tar sands oil to the united states. it's about bringing it to a deepwater port where it can go overseas to the higher prices on the intern
