winds, up near 60 miles per hour in some areas and we had more than five inches of snow in southern new england. but we're already waiting for the next storm system to move through. here it is and it's going to move through the great lakes and produce more snow across southern new england. this time though it's right during a monday morning commute so that's what's going to cause the problems as we go into tomorrow. we're looking for temperatures in the 30s, a quick burst of snow. the roads will be very slippery through southern new england but it's not going to be as windy this time around. it will be breezy but we're not looking at those 60 miles per hour wind gusts we saw with the first storm system. western new york could see some areas, about six to eight inches of snow in the higher elevations across southern new england also looking at six to eight. in boston, closer to two to four. again, it's the timing that's going to make the monday morning commute slippery and slow going. as for temperatures, even once the snow ends, the coldest air by tuesday. highs in washington d.c. only 50, 43 i

that continue to filter through the eastern half of the country from the midatlantic into southern new englandght around chicago. you see that yellow box that has popped up. that is a severe thunderstorm watch. there is a tremendous amount of energy with this system that will develop here tonight and tomorrow but that stays in the midwest. we will get some gusty thunderstorms to develop in spots tomorrow afternoon but as we go through the overnight hours as that warm front continues to drift through there could be some scattered downpours or even a quick shower especially north of philadelphia late tonight, early tomorrow morning. the majority of the region will start tomorrow morning for that commute on the dry and mild side with some sunshine. we spike into the upper 70's, low 80's across much of the area and we're still awaiting that front to come in from the north. this is 2:30. the best chance for any storms to fire up would be far northern areas in the early afternoon. then it collapses close to philadelphia, chester county, into trenton around 4, 5 o'clock and then it continues the push
