again, all the way from texas right on up to southern indiana and illinois we'll be seeing -- and memphise seeing the icy conditions as well. it's going to be a mess. there's no other way to put it. if we move a little further north, you can see indianapolis, you're going to be dealing with that icy weather, that wintry mix. again, tomorrow it slides over to cincinnati. the list just goes on of the places that are going to be dealing with this. then we get to the northeast as well. tomorrow they're going to see snow in syracuse. they're going to see the icy conditions in the middle of pennsylvania, new york state. as we get into friday night -- and think about it, people heading out maybe for their weekend on friday night. look at where this wintry mix is. all the way from pittsburgh up to boston. that includes a good portion of that i-95 corridor that could get very dangerous very quickly. now, we take a look at the snowfall forecast. you can see here in springfield, missouri, 5 to 8 inches. that area in purple that cuts its way up just south of indianapolis. one to three on either side

right now the strongest part of the storm is still back across parts of southern indiana into kentuckys going to move into the northeast by the time we get to around 5:00 to 7:00 this evening. that's when the heaviest snow, the accumulating snow is really going to come down. for right now, you can see it is still pretty light in new york city. it's not accumulating all that quickly but the storm is now just getting started. we do have this winter weather advisory and watches and warnings all up across the northeast that remain in effect till tomorrow morning. it's a fast-moving storm. so while it will snow all day today with the heavier burst of snow later onnent too, it's really going to start moving away quickly by tomorrow. but there is a rain ran/snow line. that's what we're watching for these storms and it's going to really limit snowfall accumulations down near washington, d.c. into philadelphia even in southernen an central new jersey. it is going to eventually start moving to the north. we are looking at most of our snow, about 6 to 128 inches interior new england where we don'

these overnight hours so anywhere from indiana stretching back in through texas we have seen the system or this line move on through. farther to the north around southernllinois, we have only seen about a third of an inch of that ice accumulation. north of us and west of us, northwest portions of arkansas seen ft. smith an inch of ice accumulation already and greenwood seeing over an inch and that is what we are concerned about. jonesboro, arkansas, a category five warning meaning they have the potential to lose power for weeks. this is a concern. the system will continue to push on through. the next several hours in memphis that freezing rain will start. it does take time to transition but eventually it looks like the potential here for half an inch of ice is possible on these lines. power outages could be widespread. then that system will start to exit out of the area as we about it through tonight. but keep in mind by tomorrow morning, another system on the heels right behind it will start to move on through. so we have two punch here of chances of getting this freezing rain and we know the devastating it means when you talk about the cold arctic te
