on the southern side of thing, southern maryland seeing showers.s rain is going to be moving into lusby before too long. these are showing signs of thunder and lightning. back to our weather computer for our forecast. first, scattered showers, maybe an isolated thunderstorm, and temperatures right around the 70-degree mark up toker sick. this forecast looks really similar overnight through monday scattered showers, even through monday morning, then i think we start to dry things out as we go through monday. starts to get maybe a slight chance of an isolated shower. just like i said the last two days, i think we're going to be the same, middle 70s. it's this weak upper level disturbance. that's why the scattered showers are still in this forecast. that's going finally move out, but we'll have to watch for this front wednesday. so real tight high-resolution forecast. widely it scattered showers. a few heavier storms south of washington. but again could, see a showers, could see a thunderstorm out there. and then through tomorrow morning i think it's

and also into portions of southern maryland and into st. mary's county and towards chesapeake beach in shady side. zoom in a little bit and that's the heaviest of the rain showers passing almost directly on top of the radar on dulles airport. these showers moving into upper montgomery county and more on i-95 and to the south. a broader view shows a break in the action so we have these showers for about the next two or three hours and then a break for the overnight. but more rain in the forecast for tomorrow so don't think you're going to get away with a dry weekend. very unstable air to the west so as the weather front dies out and hang out across the area it will be a trigger during the course of the day tomorrow for more showers, maybe a rumble or two of thunder. that will be just about it. by monday morning at 8:00, still plenty of clouds around and that little push of convergence and by monday afternoon things will dry out. better weather returns for tuesday and wednesday and beautiful weather as we lead to memorial day weekend. the res

it runs through southern maryland. over the potomac river into king george, of virginia, in to caroline county to garrett farm where it all ends 12 days later. this is 108 miles. counting ford's theater there are 13 stops along the way and the want to point out a couple things that normally aren't pointed out but you should think about. the distance from ford's theater to the potomac river, the average travel on a good horse is five miles an hour. at fast gallup you can go nine to ten but only go short distance. so it would have taken boots from 10:30 at night when he shot lincoln to sometime around 9:00 in the morning to reach the potomac river which means -- sunrise is at 5:05:00 a.m.. he would be writing roughly 3-1/2 hours through daylight in an area that is teeming with union troops. of course he would never do that. he would have been caught almost immediately. all of this was laid out ahead of time for the escape route with clinton and it was just rolled over as the escape route after he shot him. he needed some
