we have some showers off in southern maryland. most of the showers now to the west out 66. a little bit of rain. and a little bit of moderate rain just north of chantilly on the north side of 50 there. a little bit of moderate rain also around manassas denoted there in yellow. where is this going to go in the next hour? essentially just going to move up the north through vienna and reston and great falls and bethesda and right around the airport in the next hour. all right. let's talk about what is going to happen. we're going to get dryer air in here eventually. we're still going to have a wet morning commute tomorrow. but the good news is, a dry evening commute. we haven't had that for a while. breezy friday and saturday. and a bit milder over the weekend. not quite up to what our expectations are, but at least a little milder. all right. tomorrow morning, this is why we think we're going to have a wet commute. showers light. nothing heavy tomorrow. look at the flakes all the way down to frederick and martinsburg tomorrow. could even see a snowflake around gaithersburg. b

and west in those favored neighborhoods up to western maryland, northern sections of maryland right up into southernections of pennsylvania. nothing like that, though, right now. temperature is 41 degrees. there's a lot of moisture in the air, so temperatures are having a hard time dropping tonight. we're pretty much right where we've been all day long, high temperature day for national, 19 degrees below where we should be. it was only 42 for a high today. 39 for frederick now and then you can see back out to the north and west hagerstown, winchester, martinsville all in the upper 30s. so for tonight down to 37. it's going to be kind of cold and rainy and raw. up into frederick and winchester and then parts north and west, that's where you might have that chance to get in on a little bit of a changeover, a little bit of a mixing there, but again i don't anticipate any problems on the roads tomorrow morning, anything like that. as a matter of fact, i don't even think you'll wake up tomorrow morning and see any hint that there may have been a little mixing overnight. farther down to the south it's all
