it does not technically include our friends in southern maryland. you might see a dusting down toward la plata, but by and large, elevation driven and the further north and west you go, the more snow you'll get. you won't get that much, maybe 2 to 4 inches in cumberland, oakland, romney and hagerstown, another great day for the ski resorts, but 1 to 2 leesburg, gaithersburg, manassas into the northwest part of d.c. and a trace to an inch south and east of town and primarily snow. we aren't concerned about freezing rain. there could be a little sleet mixed in south and east of town but a very quick hitter. temperatures it's getting cold, 34 in chevy chase, reston, 32 out toward dulles and leesburg, 35 in dumfries and the woodbridge area and dale city, but 35 in college park and also in waldorf. so a quick hitter, a trace to 3 inches, critical times 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. i think that's about perfect. slick for the morning commute, but fine for the evening commute because we'll turn milder in the afternoon and stay milder for the rest of the week. yes, we
