for folks traveling in southern maryland, there is a massive water main break causing some problems. swan creek road is shut down. back to you. jummy: thank you so much. a renewed push this new to get -- noon to get funding to rebuild the arlington bridge. major corrosion to the underside of the bridge. the national park service says it will be forced to close without a major renovation. where do things stand right now? reporter: there are big problems with the bridge. this is on the south end on the virginia side. there is disrepair all over the place. 68,000 cars pass over the bridge every day. problems are on the deck, the spans, and the concrete holding the bridge together. the team took a turn of the bridge -- tour of the bridge. the national park service took the group under the bridge deck to get a look at major issues. officials are pushing for $250 million in funding for repairs for the bridge, which would have to be closed in 2021 if repairs are not made. this is similar video to a tour that happened last february, highlighting major problems underneath the memorial bridge.
