we will return to southern maryland live tomorrow for the 15th anniversary of the la plata tornado. i gave you a photo gallery of the pictures of the damage. it's pretty incredible. you know what? the folks are resilient. it's better and more vibrant than ever right now. at 6:00 downtown and manassas, essentially the same air mass as today, low to mid 80s across the board. by 9:30, date night, low to mid 70s. almost like a summer night tomorrow. 76 downtown at 9:30. that's above our average high temperature during the peak heating of the day. topsy turvy. tonight, partly to mostly cloudy and warm with a few showers and storms, nothing heavy. they weaken as they move across the the mountains and clear 91. by morning we could see some lingering clouds with maybe a shower well south and east.
