southern maryland. most of this ribbon of what looks to be rainfall is evaporating before it gets down.e shower chances are sneaking our way as rain is now moving into far western maryland. and this batch of rain showers with some embedded thunderstorms now. that is now racing across the appalachian mountains. it could bring rain drops to the next three or four hours from now. the bulk of that heavier rain will be towards richmond. if you're driving south today, you'll run into steadier showers to the south. we'll have a late this afternoon chance of rain chance. another back at indiana right now. late in the evening and the overnight hours tonight. but the good news is i think we can get the sunshine back by about mid to late morning on your sunday. the clouds and the rain drops keeping us in the upper 50s to near 60 today. into the future weather forecast, by 6:00 tonight that's where you can see the shower chances sneaking on through here. and off and on shower chances for most of the time frame through tomorrow. high pressure starts to move in tomorrow afternoon. that'll clear thing

it looks like the showers down in virginia are going to slide east toward the southern part of maryland. you might still catch a few showers as the evening wears on. it will not completely get out of here until around dawn tomorrow. ocean city, east in cambridge, st. mary's county, maybe some of the rain down in north carolina will come up to the northeast as well. here in town officially, just 0.13 inches at bwi marshall and 0.15 at the inner harbor. not a bunch of brain, but it is something we have not had here in a few weeks. -- not a bunch of rain. considerably cooler than the normal high of 66. steady or heavier rains down in virginia and the mountains of north carolina. the shares have been weakening on their track to the north and east. it is also helping to began to wash out some of the pollen in the atmosphere. the tree pollen count is still very high and the grass pollen count is high, too. yesterday was over 2400. tomorrow we should see the impact of the rain moving through on the pollen count. wet weather keeps the temperature down here, but look what happens when the sky cl

looking at other temperatures, far southern maryland, they're near 60 degrees right now as well as much of the northern neck. that area picked up an inch of rain just about an hour ago. it's now left. it's now near 60 in fredericksburg, culpepper, up to 63 charlottesville, 64, farther north it's in the mid 50s. now over the last several hours, there's the last of the rain. morning rain, exiting now, moving over the lower part of the eastern shore. a lot of low clouds hanging in over washington, a few breaks in the clouds, a little sun trying to break out along the blue ridge from front royal south to charlottesville. a few sprinkles moving into northern loudoun county, northern shenandoah valley. that will be moving in toward montgomery county over the next hour or so. as we go over the next 48 hours, the last of the rain will be exiting this afternoon. it does look like it's going to taper off for a time. as we get into the evening, we have a chance for maybe another round of some showers coming through. just a slight chance of a little thunder and lightning as this moves in around mid

southern maryland. at theake a current look temperature is. they're mainly in the low 50's. 52 degrees downtown.in the 40's to our north. they will not warm much throughout the day. you are stuck with the temperatures we have right now. temperatures will hold steady through the afternoon saw your high temperature will be low 50's and upper 40's with rain into the afternoon when it becomes heavy into the evening and the winds will start to pick up the 10-20 miles per hour and maybe some gusts up part of that as we go into tonight. we will get the heaviest of the rain. more of the brain is set to end by midnight but there will be a couple of showers lingering tomorrow morning. this will help us time out this rate -- the storm system is in south carolina is throwing in the moisture from the atlantic. by midnight, most of this should pull out of the baltimore metro area but we get the backside of is bringing rain shares to the mountains and changing to a rain/snow makes. mix. there will be lingering snow chances in the mountains for a couple of days. we are expecting to-3 inches of rain from baltimo
