this looks like southern new england much more than us that's the way it looks like whether it's a tropicalrm or a category one hurricane. here are the wind fields. notice how they miss us, this is 60-mile per hour winds in orange and 60 in red, however by 8:00 on saturday, that 40- mile per hour wind field is well inland including boston and providence so if it takes that track we're just looking at heavy surf once again kind of like bill, maybe rip currents as well as we get into friday night and particularly saturday morning. from the headlines danny's track is important. the beaches will have you surf no matter which way it decides to go. the critical times for danny is friday night into 3:00 p.m. saturday. that's the critical time. right now it appears you might get more rain from the front friday than we will from danny. if danny hugs the coast, then we will get rain and some wind in the metro area but it's got to hug the coast and right now, indications are it's going to track a little further to the east not quite as far as bill but generally speaking, should not be a huge problem f
