good news for central and southern new hampshire. more changes by the end of the week and the weekend, straight ahead. shelley: warning people of a utlity scam targeting eversource customers. police say someone became victim to the scam and lost $2000. eversource issued a warning back in july that scammers were pressuring people to make payments over the phone and in person. the utility says in reality, eversource rarely makes unsolicited phone calls. tom: we're learning more about a massive real estate project that's been in the works for nearly 10 years. the more than 640 acres that used to be woodmont orchards in londonderry will become woodmont they've been planning the massive urban manual project since 2008. wmur's cherise leclerc is live now with more on what people who live nearby can expect. reporter: tonight, the developers got conditional approval to start building. that means people who live here will see the structures come up in the spring of 2017. it is a first of its kind development in new england, in the making for

we topped off 50s-plus in central and southern new hampshire today. fairly uniform temperatures overnight tonight, a bit of a gusty wind at times. cloud up north will keep er while it clears out in southern new hampshire the wind go a little bit lighter and temperatures will fall basically to where they will be up north. mid 30s on average as you head out tomorrow morning. temperatures cooling down over a good portion of the country anywhere north of the central part of the plains, mid part of the mississippi valley, to the north seasonably chilly but not exceptionally cold. as a matter of fact temperatures are running at or above the norm even where it is the coldest in parts of the northern plain in upper midwest. even though we'll start to see a average as we go into saturday, sunday and a good part of next week. here is a look at futurecast, in terms of the temperatures, they will fall tonight but only back into the mid 30s, still running about 10 degrees, above the average for overnight lows, tomorrow even though it's cooler than today still above

a couple of low 40s in southern new hampshire. now in terms of sunny skies we had little bit today. central southern new hampshire, more cloud up north. same theme for friday and on saturday with a west to northwesterly wind that tend to mountains. a couple of mixed rain showers ear errol early up north. everyone could see a brief snow shower tomorrow night as the next front moves onto our south florida. that will separate the above normal temperatures to the normal temperature pattern by saturday, so here is that slight chance of a flurry or brief mixed shower anywhere for tomorrow night. once we get into saturday full sunshine south, more cloud, a few flakes up north and then plenty of sun statewide as we go into a couple of snow showers, but out ahead of all of that we are still above average tomorrow by about 7 or 8 degrees, near 40 north to around 50 at the coast, then here comes the cooldown behind that mixed or snow shower in spots tomorrow night. back into the low 40s south, low to mid 30s north. even a bit cooler, full sun and sunday. a little bit breezy tomorrow, strongest

areas of new england, we have moderate snow, a burst just north of the 495 loop on boston and southern new hampshiret that's enough to cause you problems. real cold is in the middle of the country. what's interesting in the next couple days, record warm november, so the lakes are very warm. when that cold air comes over the top, we're getting significant lake effect snow. the cold arctic air moves in. as that warm air interacts with cold air, we get the clouds to form and the lake effectnow bands to form. we do expect heavy snow downwind of lake erie and ontario in the next couple days. already have lake effect watches and warnings. this is the tokyo plateau and areas south of buffalo, where we're going to see the possibilities at least of maybe about two to three feet of snow in the days ahead. again, that's expected when you get these cold outbreaks, that time of year, louis. the cold air reaches the east coast by about friday, saturday, so it's on schedule, but there's still no big huge snowstorms on the way either. >> i'm waiting for it. i'm ready for it. >> the kids are getting antsy. >> need a

winter storm in effect tonight with the heaviest snow develop across new hampshire and into southernaine so we watch for the heavy snow and here in new england and look what happens later on tonight into the evening hours. the winds will be so fierce that it will make for blowing and drifting snow and heavy amounts. behind the system on friday, colder air coming over the warmer great lakes. lake-effect snow will be substantial going into friday and here's the snowfall totals, the latest of what we're expecting. a foot, maybe 18 inches in some parts of new hampshire and into southern maine and watching for that mainly into the mountains where we could see 2 feet at the highest elevations. we'll see plenty of snow there and back out, we also look at substantial snow with the lake-effect snow bands and that will occur more into friday. the winds fierce. so we have a wind advisory all the way for the massachusetts coast, rhode island coastline to hb a new hampshire and then more gusty winds high as 60 miles per hour tonight. really dangerous conditions. let's time it out for you this eve
