portions of southeastern pa, still going down pretty well across portions of the delmarva, southern new jersey, right now, however, and so, we're at least for another couple of hours going to be stuck with this, nice wide zoom though showing our next disturbance. this is so, so weak by comparison. but it is going to be the next thing that crosses through, probably, trigger quick sprinkle on sunday morning, but for now, of course, here and now, what we want to focus on. look at some of the area snow amount, over achieving in a couple of spots here, laurel at 4 inches even, millville does have 2 inches on the grounds, at their observation site, medford in at one, and philadelphia international airport, still can't muster up more than .3 of an inch. ewing, not much better at this point either. so the further northwest you go, the more likely it is that you will have very, very puddle amounts of snow out of this, but, because we have the heavier banding coming through, those southern most counties, in southeast, i should say, most counties, what you will find here is potential for up to 4 inches.

as we look along some of these new jersey, this is, of course, looking west here. big issues in central and southern jersey with that snow accumulating. now, temperature is 30 at 6:00 a.m. and that's just cold enough. 31 northport, 31 massapequa, 30 down the jersey shore. that's cold enough to really snow. it's a heavy, wet snow. you see it's really, you know, southern long island, south shore there. you see the grayer snow that comes up here on the radar is very light. you get down there to somerset, hunterdon, new jersey, marlboro that you see there in monmouth county, ocean county, heavy snow has been falling there. the storm's center is down around the outer banks of north carolina. so we'll be having this issue with these roadways through the morning along 78, i-80, the turnpike. afternoon. but look at those winds. we're at 30 miles an hour. so, kiddos, you need all your warm gear at the bus stop, both this morning and then later on. even though it's sunny, it's going to feel like the 20s i give it a "d," heather. >>reporter: i agree. >> for dang cold. >>reporter: there you go. i want to talk a

new jersey take over that city? >> the history of atlantic city and the state of new jersey is a disgrace. this is the ultimate in northern jersey versus southernew jersey and the tilt to north jersey. and this is a city that's bank-- it's bankrupt. it should file for bankruptcy. it should get into a bankruptcy court and start to try to resolve issues with its creditors, because the only way atlantic city can pivot to the future is if it can somehow levelize all these obligations that it no longer has the capacity, in the face of the declining casino industry, to pay. >> and something interesting came in to the debate, where somebody pointed out the minority population of atlantic city and said, "you're taking the minority voice." does that change the debate about what they do here? >> well, i think it should change the debate, but i think it's also important to remember that they've gotten a lot of opposition from the governor, from leadership in the legislature, on the subject of bankruptcy. i think new jersey is similar to pennsylvania in that you have to actually have permission to file for bankruptcy, and i don't see that permission forthc

looking generally light in nature in term of the showers, towards delaware and southern new jersey, we have a lot of wet weather off to our wet. most of this is lifting to north. a soggy 24 hours with intermittent rain through the course of the night. the winds are actually going to pick up as well. it will not only stay soggy and the rain will become steadier as we head into monday the commute looks soggy. coming up we'll take a closer look at the timing and see when we do dry things out. >> in west philadelphia police are looking for the person who shot and killed a young woman overnight. it happened just before midnight. the 18-year-old victim was sitting on the front stem cell research her home when she was hit in the chest by a stray bullet. she was taken to the hospital but later died from her injuries. >>> friends and family are remembering a new jersey state trooper killed in the line of duty. right now loved ones are gathered at st. charles church in burlington county. the line of mourners stretched outside the church for a life celebration and viewing for trooper sean collin.
