they have the worst of it in southern pennsylvania. it has been dry for several weeks but even so, that is a lot of water and it is taking a long time for it to run off. flood warnings are still in effect for many areas. the dark orange and red shaded bots are where the warnings are in place right now. parts of howard and montgomery counties and carroll county. you have a small creek or stream in your neighborhood it is probably running full and there could be some minor flooding problems. the storm is in the beginning stages of dying off. the storm that was offshore has died off but now it has consolidated into one centered in the northern part of virginia and we have a tropical feed around the center of the storm to the south. these bands are pushing across the bay and there are some pockets of heavy rain. toward the tail end of this loop it washes out or drops out. there is still some pockets of heavy rain. parts of baltimore county back into howard and carroll county but it is tapering off in that trend will continue overnight. tem

it might be closer to rush-hour and maybe getting into southern pennsylvania at sunset or shortly after. it is a very small mover. still a few hours of dry weather before we actually get rainfall. rainfall, we had none in the past 24 hours. for october, we have had under an inch. but more importantly, since july, we have not had a lot of rain at all. july, august, september, and so far through october, we have only had 6.39 inches. that is almost six inches below normal. below normal.nch we could use some rain coming our way. look at the temperatures at the noon hour. ocean city, 65 degrees. get up in our area and north, temperatures only in the 50's. the northwest, skies are clear, temperatures got a little chilly this morning, so they are recovering. storm. our over new england reaching back over the ohio river valley. here is our storm spinning around the combination, pulling the clouds and moisture off the atlantic ocean. this picture will be very similar tomorrow and the next day, and the next day as well. it will be with us for a couple of days. eventually into next week, a storm
