anywhere from 43 to 46 degrees in tampa and hillsborough county. 48, 49 degrees in southern pinellas county. 30s will be likely again and rural pockets of pasco county. land we'll look for temperatures around 43 to 45. the afternoon looking a little more cloudy but also temperatures very similar to today. looking to top out about 66 degrees. we'll probably see thicker and high cloud coverage although they're likely again to be the high clouds but the temperatures top out where they were today. moderate chop on the water expected and if you live by the bay or gulf beaches we'll see high tied around 5 in the evening. after tomorrow we are really going to try to pin down this system, and it is looking like a friday first half of the day kind of thing where the low comes across the gulf and right as this starts to sweep in anywhere from the morning commute to lunchtime the jet stream overhead looks like it's going to be intensifying and that's some of the things that we're going to be really tracking and looking at. really going to help play a part in it's just going to be rain and thunderstorm

totals over the last 24 hours because they have been pretty impressive, especially across southern pinellas county. anywhere between two to three inches of rainment you can pretty much extend that up through i-4 around polk county as well. now, up north in citrus and hernando county, not as much. anywhere from manatee to sarasota county, that blue color right there is a solid one and a half to two and a half inches of rain. so good news, we can always use the rain. i think a lot of us are saying, this is supposed to be the sunshine state. temperatures in the mid 60s today. we're going to be in the mid- 60s tomorrow as well. but it will be completely different because as you see, northwest winds are now coming in. that's going to help to force out the clouds and force out the moisture and force out the rain. which means we're sunny tomorrow. the temperatures will still top out right about in that same location in the middle 60s. which is really where we are right now. raining and 65 at the airport. the dew point 63. look at the winds. they have come around out of the northwest at 14 miles per hour.

county, manatee have seen the most. a few moving pretty steadily through the southern and central portions of hillsborough county and coming onshore and moving from south to north across sections of pinellas county. you do see lightning strikes in the beginning of that squall line that will sweep on through the area, probably the most dangerous part of the storm itself. that doesn't mean we can't see some rotation potentially even with these showers moving on ahead at the moment. a closer look at those showers coming on shore south of bradenton through sarasota and offshore and all the way through up see at the polk county, harden county and highlands county very heavy rain around fort meade. most of the computer models are agreeing on a time frame anywhere from 2 a.m. to say 8 a.m., within that time frame. maybe quicker than that. one thing's for sure, we've been watching this whole thing through the area in the western part of the gulf of mexico. it will continue to do that as it moves across the state of florida. by the afternoon, the low pressure will be well clear of the winds and cooler temperatures will build in. you need to remain weather aware as much as you can perhaps while goi
