you will notice that mix of in southern wyoming. and while in the high country, that snow has been falling, and steadily in the front range mountains, and especially out towards the san juan, and check out wolf creek pass, i have seen a few cars brave enough to drive out there, and it is going to be a treacherous drive, because that area is advisory. until 6:00 this afternoon. so that snow is still expected elevations. at least through the afternoon. a winter storm warning in effect for parts of the central from 8-16 inches and it really is a plethora of weather conditions across colorado today. because we have the rain, and the thunderstorms around the city, and that snow in the high country, and in southeast colorado, it is so dry, a red flag warning, it is in effect, until 6:00 this afternoon. and with gusts up to 40 miles per hour. and a cooler day. 40s around town right now. and our highs are only going to be in the 50s. we have rain around town right now. but it looks like it will be wrapping up before that afternoon commute.

at the same time, there's a cold front embedded from north dakota into southern wyoming that slides through into the denver area and that increases the cloud cover and might give us a day. it's not a huge chance, but showing up in the afternoon. see the green blobs, those are isolated sprinkles and rain might see some high mountain flakes of snow but doesn't last long. it pushes through by 9:00, it's all gone tomorrow, partly cloudy during the day. it might be a flurry or two around the vail area up at the high mountain areas and on sunday, another batch of moisture coming in. if you're going skiing, it's going to be windy and you have some snow, maybe some rain mixed with snow on the western slope and here we'll be partly cloudy, breezy and very warm across the eastern plains to finish up the weekend. looking at 60s and 70s east. the year and 40s and 50s in the mountains the high in denver should make it around 66 tomorrow, partly cloudy skies around 70 on sunday. that's ahead of a front that comes through on monday. tuesday, we might get a few scattered showers on monday. check out this,

also snow in southern wyoming and light snow showers in the high country as well. now we're still going to see country. this winter weather advisory is going to expire at 6:00 p.m. off. top of what we're already seeing. the eastern plains in southeast colorado. they're dealing with very dry weather and a red flag warning that's in effect at 6:00 this afternoon. and this relative humidity map is just mind boggling. i'll tell you why we're at 94% humidity here in the metro area. down low and to the southeast the humidity is 9%. just goes to show you how crazy our colorado can be. there's also where that cold front is draped. you will see 42 degrees here in colorado springs. 54degrees where the leading edge of that cold front is. as we go through the rest of the afternoon. i think we're done with the rain here in the metro area. dry up. we'll have a little bit of clouds through the evening. skies will be partly cloudy and beautiful view over the sky. and one thing i love to see after the rain is a rainbow. that's what we need. especially with peyton manning retiring,
