for the first time, we are seeing the photo 569-year-old shot in the head last week in southwest baltimore. she is raven wyatt. her mother is telling our media partner "the baltimore sun" that she is still in the hospital and her condition has stabilized. police are charging 17-year-old lamont davis in the shooting and he was trying to shoot at someone else with whom he earlier had been fighting. >>> he seemed to be happy and did not want a divorce, the name the words of a close friend of steve mcnair. the woman found dead near sahel kazemi said that he was going to leave his house and marry her. the friend tells a newspaper that is not true. they are trying to determine if kazemi shot mcnair and then killed herself. >>> federal investigators are hard at work. lawyers are reviewing countless documents and michael jackson's family continues to grieve. and it hasn't been 24 hours since the star-studded memorial ceremony brought the world to tears. there are still many unanswered questions including where jackson's three young children will go. terri okita has more for wjz from los angeles. >

he is now accused in last week's shooting in southwest baltimore. police say he fired at another teenager and in the process shot a five-year old in the head. the governor has asked for a full review in davis' history. his placement in the group home should have kept him out of the community for the rest of this year. but on march 31, the state closed the group home on four days' notice. a special report cited the problem that is created, with staff funding to find -- with the staff trying to find replacements. davis was placed in a prince george's county group home last year but failed to return after leaving one weekend on a home pass. at the time of the shooting, he was under gps monitoring. he clipped off the device shortly before the shooting. >> reality is starting to set in for students and parents at towson catholic high school in baltimore county. this is following the stunning news that the archdiocese is shutting down the school because of financial problems. tim tooten has the story. >> it all came down to the numbers. the school was los

citizens on patrol will walk with residents of the carrollton ridge community in southwest baltimore. last week you may remember, a 5-year-old girl was shot in the head by a stray bullet after a street fight between two groups of young men. this happened in the 300 block of south pulaski. the same street where tonight's walk will kick off. >> we strive for community involvement merely by just walking through their neighborhoods and reporting all kinds of problems in the community. >> city leaders including the mayor are expected to be there as well for tonight's walk. >>> a proposal that would allow speed cameras in baltimore passed the first round of the city council voting. if the measure passes the cameras would be used in october. $40 ticket would be sent to the address linked to the vehicle's license plate. if the speed limit is exceeded by at least 12 miles per hour. a state law passed this year allowing speed cameras within a half mile of work zones, school sites.and road construction the city finance department does expect to take $7.1 billion from the speed camera violations

the southwest baltimore museum itself has been going strong since it was rebuilt. but some of the attractions inside were missing. roosevelt leftwich tells us about the painstaking process to bring some of the old engines back from that disaster. >> reporter: it is state-of-the- art. state-of-the-art 1863. but it was buried under tons of snow and rubble when the roof collapsed during the great president day storm of 2003. it's been out of sight for more than five years. and after methodical rebuilding and restoration, is now just weeks away from rejoining the museum's collection. >> it takes really 19th century skills and talents to be able to put together a steam locomotive from the civil war period, as you might imagine. you can't order parts from a warehouse. >> reporter: it is one of the last damaged engines to be restored. three others are still waiting their turn. and they need everything from wood and iron works to mechanical repair. >> this is the first engine to be restored after the roof collapsed, from the iron work all the way up to the wood had to be r
