moving 20 miles per hour and moving towards this southwest. baltimore region. we just looked at it and let's look inside of it to see if there is a lot of rotation. let's go down to the lower area and we are looking inside of it. there is some rotation there, not as much as you saw earlier but there is some rotation right through there. you see the different colors, there's some neutral colors but we have darker greens and lighter greens in opposition. we don't see a lot of reds, sometimes not even seeing the indications can still mean you can still see some funnel clouds or tornadoes developing in that particular cell, from laural to maryland city, moving up towards the beltway up towards 95 and 32 right now. around the rest of the area, still plenty of activity as you can see just a lot of storms going on around the region across the area and particularly north and east of baltimore area and moving to lancaster city and south of dc, another strong line developing and concerned about that. and portions of west virginia and allegany and approaching western wash

southwest toward northeast. this is going to go right over the southeastern city limits over the next 35 to 4345 minutes. these are slow moving storms. we are concerned with glen burnie. ferndale, will cross the baltimoreay and right around the curtis bay area and brooklyn section of baltimore. this is a dangerous storm. the national weather service feels this could become a tornadic storm as it pushes toward the north. everybody will continue to be under a watch. it's still inside the peak heating of the day, sunset being at eight. we're about 5:30. we have more solar heating to get the storms to bubble up. you can see the line of storms -- there's one storm over anne arundel county going toward the eastern shore. we talked about flash flooding concerns, saw it to the north and west over carroll county. this is a wall of water. it's called training -- one, two, three, four, five, six storms, dumping copious amounts of rain, just toward the west of baltimore. we'll be tracking it. we'll have numerous flash flood warnings in effect and we'll talk more about the radar and the watches and warnings coming up in a little bit. >> with this first cell that wrents through, are upanticipating worse -- went thro
