. >> before we wrap things up, easter sunday, southwest washington state, a woman kayaking along on the columbiatrand in very cold and swift water. so her friend called 9-1-1. the dispatcher followed procedure to the letter and called the local sheriff office. then she tried a different strategy. she called her mother. the dispatcher says her family lives close to the spot, and you know moms are great at everything. she figure her mom could get there before the sheriff's office could, and she was spot on. mom and other family members got in their own boat, got down to where that woman was having all the trouble, and saved her. emergency worker say the rescued woman was cold and shaken but not seriously hurt, and mighty lucky that somebody else's mom was on the line. i love that story. that's it for "studio b" today. we'll wrap things up tonight on fox report, 7:00 eastern time. 6:00 in oxford.
