something we have to watch with this is basically this line right here extending down to the southwest gulf of mexico. that line of severe storms could potentially make its way down here as it tons to track towards the south and east. so as far as the tornado watch extending down here, that cannot be completely ruled out, so that's why we're going to keep an eye on this tornado watch you can see there's plenty of heavy downpours going on stretching across the everglades, miami-dade county and laurie and calvin the east coast of broward county. i'm actually going to zoomin so we can take a better look at where the rain is occurring. so let's talk about first broward county. zooming in on that right there, fort lauderdale all the way out to pampano beach. must of the west side of broward county isn't too bad, but it's not over. we'll continue to track the heavy thunderstorms that are just to the north of us. these showers we're dealing with right now, some of these are moderate to heavy are pushing out towards the north and east. so we'll continue to see this band of rain stretching all the w

the mountains and the upstate, gathering the moisture content and wrapping it in from the southwest, from the gulf of mexico. so, we are only going to be increasing things as we make our way into the overnight hours and it's going to be progressing ahead of that front. so, as we put this hour-by-hour for you now, the remaining quiet through lunchtime, you start to as we head into a little bit further to the south. but, overall, i think we are keeping things quiet for western north carolina. then, later on this afternoon, they become a little more wide spread, more so east of i-26. but in the overnight hours, take a look at this. you see the broadband of rain, that's ahead of the front. it's really going to engulf the region overnight. but, move out fairly quickly and we are already at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. we are trying to clear things out at that time. by the afternoon hours, we are looking actually at more ply sky and sunshine. so it's a very quick front, and it's not going to leave a whole lot in terms of impact. we saw trace amounts of rain yesterday, less than a tenth of an inch. but today
