the nbc 10 weather app says it is 4 degrees in southwest philadelphia, but it feels like negative 16. oh, my zboshgosh i think this is the first time i have felt what negative 16 feels like. we are outside the largest wholesale market where industry is still thriving despite the cold temperatures. many many truck drivers behind me are trying to stay warm in their cabs right now because it is downright frigid outside. in a few minutes, a lot of them have to pull up to the warehouse and start up loading their dozens of palettes of fruits and vegetables. we have overnight workers, sleep deprivation and we thought we would take a break and talk about the cold because you cannot ignore that this morning. your kids will be standing out at the bus stop and need layer upon layer to try to stay warm. better yet, try to drive them there to stay in the car to keep warm. for a look at the roads this morning and traffic, and if anything is affected because of the cold fortunately there's no precipitation we're finding. so hopefully the roads should be pretty good for the morning commute. good morn
