matt delucia is live in southwest philly. it sounded like this guy was intentionally driving himself to the police station to get help. is that what you gathered there? >> reporter: pretty much, chris. quite a series of events out here this morning where investigators are still out here at 65th and woodland. and the shooting victim meantime is in critical condition. here's what we know. this happened before 1:30 this morning. a man got shot in the chest while driving, he told police around 65th and pasqual and somehow kept driving ired aicly toward the police station here. >> this policeman just entered his headquarters and spotted this man driving at a high speed and the driver told the officer, i was just shot. >> reporter: they rushed him to the hospital the university of pennsylvania. he was sent to surgery and told the sergeant a little bit about what happened before losing consciousness. if the car does have three visible bullet holes, the police also say they spotted a surveillance camera to show where this happened. t
