so the southwesterly wind coming from the pacific means a sea breeze. that is going to mean higher humidity levels. now in and around the canyon itself it looks like at the ridge tops the winds are 10 to 15 miles per hour, of course, the firefighters would prefer no wind at all but a southwesterly and northwesterly wind better than the offshore winds. in the canyon another warm day, temperatures 75 degrees. checked in around the napa area, humid levels are up from 24 hours ago, so hopefully that may be a little bit of a benefit to the firefighters. >> people in the midwest would love to have the bay area's weather. a winter weather advisory was in effect in chicago until a couple of hours ago because of this, thick heavy snow. travelers on the roads and in the air having problems. more than 150 flights have been cancelled at chicago's o'hare airport alone. that includes flights to and from the bay area. this video from this morning shows the flight board at sfo and cancelled flights from the chicago area. sfo officials say 4 arrivals were cancelled this
