now at national. 53 degrees right now in fredricksburg and we'll have that push of light west-southwesterly winds which will continue the temperatures well above average and even tonight, the melting will continue during the overnight because we think overnight temperatures will remain well above freezing as well. now, as far as the bigger picture, there's cold spots here and there. this is looking more and more like an early to mid march map here as far as the temperature distribution but our weather is coming from this direction. so we'll get the rain moving in from the southwest but it's also going to bring warmer air in. in fact there's a warm front kind of leading the way here. we'll deal with the next couple of days. here's the washington area, there's some of the high thin cloudiness. this first little area of moisture moving through the raleigh durham area diminishing showers mainly south to charlotte charlotte. we go farther south and west and find a bigger system developing pushing through the eastern plains. all this low pressure will pull moisture our way and could be too much of a go
