because sometimes it looks like spaghetti. all of the different models just meandering this thin all around the area and if you look at the end of the lines that's thursday morning. you get the idea here we are saturday morning. we've got another five to six days of this storm in the same area. that's why we expect to see the rainfall totals so high. it's because of the rotation these things rotate counterclockwise so the center of it has the worst of the rain at this point but these bands that come up and will continue to get pulled up into that rotation, that's where we will see the raining of the thunderstorms for hours at times and sometimes we'll see maybe three to four inches of rain and then clear out a little bit and another band feeds back into the same spots. overall once you put all of this together, the rainfall totals are extreme for some and model outputs continue to be scary to be honest with you alarming to see these amounts in the 50-inch range. certainly we'll see spots well over 40 inches where that is hard

this is called a spaghetti plot. you just take a lot of the different models and say these three agree, right? so this is the outlier here. right now, we're going somewhere right in this area, where this thing wants to make sure. potentially it's a cat 3, and then it guests up over texas and stays put for three, four, five days. it's not as a hurricane, but as just rain, rain, rain. so there could be two to three feet of rain in areas like houston that can't handle two to three feet of rain. so that's the big story out there. that will cause problems. dallas will see flight delays, and there will be ripple effects from that. for us, it's more of the same, but with the heat upcoming sunday and monday. saturday heats up, but sunday and monday get warmer still. a little cooler than last night at this time. there is the fog, there is the picture of the bay bridge. you can see it's a little hazy out there. you know what this looks like? this looks like yesterday, the day before, and it looks like the day before that, too.

these are spaghetti lines we call them our different computer models show us where the storms will go can be south texas, south houston, all pinpointing along the texas come friday afternoon. and then it kind of lingers and loops in houston. we all know how flood-prone houston is this is like a nightmare forecast for that region. 100% chance of it becoming a tropical system in the hurricane center. 90% in the next two days. one of our computer model, the american model takes the system friday between corpus christi and visitoria. again, rain impact will be huge for this. we'll wait and see how strong it gets with the surge. this is our european model. the more active long range model. the pink coloring, that's seven inches of rain. widespread, over a half a foot of rain. from the weekend into tuesday. from victoria, houston and port author and louisiana and some areas of mississippi. we're not just talking one spot on the map. we're talking a huge area of high rainfall concerns. if this happens with predicted rainfall amounts like that, six inches to 12 inches, we will have flash floo
