the spartans played idaho this past saturday in a thriller, but who came out on top. have the story. >> reporter: the spartans return home saturday after idaho, in the first quarter it was all spar at that as they converted three turnovers. oneover the scoring plays was tyler who scampered in to put them up 20-0. the first half was going so well even the defense got in on the scoring as sacked, and at the half it was 22-10 spartans. >> but in the second half it was a completely different story, as idaho came out, score 2-g 1 unanswered point, they took a 23-2-22 lead midway through the fourth quarter and with a little over a minute left, mat find -- for six and trims the lead to three points. the spartans had the line up for the most exciting and they recovered but the referees ruled the ball didn't go ten yards and by rule they ran out the clock to win the game. after the contest, head coach mike mcentire talked about what this meant to its team. >>> a -- for us, i know they will bounce back and keep fighting, and a game we definitely had a chance to definitely win,
