i did it to raise money for special olympics. i wouldn't do it for any other reason, i'm being perfectly honest. joan, what are your thoughts? >> i'm so impressed by the bravery but also the generosity, you know, between today and tomorrow we'll have about 90 people rappel down the wall of the grand hyatt, 400- some feet. but there are still openings. so anyone with an adventurous spirit and $1,000 to donate is welcome to come down and register. >> lindsay, as soon as i got down to the very bottom which wasn't soon enough for me, i guesstimate it was about 15 minutes for 38 stories, lindsay, were you there to greet me. what were your thoughts? >> i wanted to thank you for coming out and helping us out. and on behalf of 14,000 athlete, we want to thank you for coming out and helping us. it's great, it fun. and thank you for coming for over the edge. >> i did it for you and for one of my best friends stephanie with special olympics because you guys won these medals yourself in your own special olympics games. you're my hero! that's

i did it for special olympics to raise money for special olympics. and, yeah, there you go. there's not much more to say. all you have to do is look at the video. >> you have a laser focus on that don't you? >> you have to. that was my strategy. whenever i tried to look to the sides or down it was horrific. so i focused on the building. a couple times the winds blowing out of the west at 20 miles per hour they blew me away from the building and that was very disconcerting. i felt like the blanket was a building i had to be touching it at all times. i think i collapsed and jumped to the bottom. what was amazing they said i was the fastest person down today. and that was only because i wanted to get down. it wasn't strategy. i wish i could have stayed up there longer and enjoyed the view because it was spectacular. >> yeah. come on. you were just trying to look into the hotels. >> anybody peek out a window. >> people did bang on the windows say hi. >> you were like this. >> i think i'm going to be very sore tomorrow. it's amazing how much upper body strength that does require.
