they are not with their mom, and it was not that deep, but once they got out, it was like speedboating. they skimmed the water and got out deeply. one duck was pesky and got stuck in the drainage pipe and they had the coax it out. and all eight ducks were rescued okay. >>> just because you are not rambling down rapids in the kayak does not mean you can't get yourself in trouble. check out these two, the woman and her male companion trapped beneath some debris that fell in the flat river in durham, north carolina. the guy seemed okay because his kayak pushed up against the trees, but that woman there, she is partly submerged in the water, and she was stuck there for two hours. her legs still inside of the kayak, and the kayak got stuck underneath the debris, so she is trapped with her legs in the kayak, holding on to those logs. she told the rescuers that she used a pocket knife to cut a piece of the rope to dragging her underneath the water, but rescuers believe that saved her life. they made the call, but it took res kirs a couple of hours to find where they were. it takes rescuers qu
